There are villas with views, and then there is Baan View Talay. The name translates simply as "sea view house", but it undersells the reality considerably. Perched on a clifftop in the hills above Nathon, this six-bedroom estate was built for one purpose: to make the most of what may be the finest vantage point on the island.

The Gulf of Thailand stretches out below in every direction, framed differently from every room, every terrace, every sun lounger. The villa is generous in every sense. The spacious open-plan living room is anchored by a hand-carved antique doorway from Chiang Mai that flows out to a deck and the signature 14m-long infinity pool, which seems to hang over the hillside as if suspended above the water below.

Inside, a pool table, cinema screen, and foosball table ensure that no one is ever at a loss for something to do. Outside, a badminton field takes that commitment further still. For guests who prefer their leisure more structured, an air-conditioned indoor gym is available whenever the mood strikes.
Fully-staffed, the dedicated villa team includes a villa manager, housekeepers, and a private chef who can whip up daily in-villa meals for you and your entourage at the cost of groceries and service fee.

Baan View Talay is built into the hillside, with a pavilion-style arrangement comprising six bedrooms and open-sided lounges that follow the natural contours of the terrain. Indoor and outdoor space blur pleasantly throughout, with living areas that open on multiple sides to catch the breeze and enjoy the view.
The master suite comes with a private sea-view jacuzzi. Bedroom Six offers its own living area and a mezzanine with twin beds above — ideal for families or a group of close friends who prefer a little separation from the main group.

With a large outdoor deck and balconies in most bedrooms, there are plenty of great spots for a good stretch or a yoga and meditation session. Exercise mats are available for guest use upon request.

BADMINTON FIELD

The in-house chef is experienced in cooking Western, Indonesian, and Asian cuisine, as well as vegetarian and children’s dishes. Special requests can be accommodated, including strict diets. All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and floating breakfast) can be arranged in advance. We also provide a chef shopping service and a pre-arrival shopping service charged at grocery bill + 25% handling fee + 7% VAT. Provisioning is to be paid by cash on site or by credit card.

Additional baby cot is charged at USD 10 per unit per day and high chair is charged at USD 5 per unit per day.

The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation voucher, unless specifically authorized in writing.
